Who TODOčko is for: freelancers, small teams, non-profits

Updated 22 September 2026

Privacy on a task list sounds like a luxury until you notice what tends to be in those tasks: client names, amounts, deadlines, notes from meetings. Here are three situations where it stops being theoretical.

Freelancers and sole traders

You run projects for several clients at once, and their internal matters end up in your tasks. On some of that work you have signed a confidentiality agreement, which covers somebody else's cloud too, even if that rarely comes up.

  • A separate project per client.
  • Time tracking and worklogs as the basis for invoicing.
  • Unfinished tasks move themselves to the next day in the calendar.
  • Over MCP you can ask: how many hours did I work for client X this month.

Small teams

Up to about ten people, with no budget for a licence billed per head. You need an overview, not the administration around one.

  • Shared projects with permissions and blocking links between tasks.
  • Comments and mentions, so decisions do not get lost in a chat.
  • Notes and documentation kept with the project.
  • The plan is billed monthly, but its price does not depend on how many people use it.

Non-profits

You work with sensitive details about the people you help, and the software budget is the last thing you want to inflate. At the same time you are answerable for where that data sits.

  • Personal details of the people you help never reach us in readable form.
  • The free plan covers a small caseload at no cost, permanently.
  • Export at any time, with no tie to a supplier.
  • No behavioural tracking and no third-party cookies.

Who it is not for

  • Large organisations that need single sign-on, an audit log and user administration.
  • Teams that need a native mobile app and notifications on a phone.
  • Anyone who wants to attach large files to tasks.
  • Anyone who would rather not be responsible for a backup phrase.

Does that sound like you?

The free plan handles one project and fifty tasks. That is enough to make up your mind.
